Collaboration with Universities


Ostim Technopark, which is the most central Technopark in Ankara, aims to be the focal point of R&D, software, design, and innovation activities. It aims to support, develop, and direct the synergy between R&D companies with the academic knowledge provided by its 7 university partners: Ankara University, Atılım University, Başkent University, Çankaya University, Hacettepe University, OSTİM Technical University, and TOBB Economics and Technology University.

The establishment of OSTIM Technical University has brought significant value. The dynamism brought by OSTIM Technical University to the region further strengthens the technology development network between Ostim Technopark and its partner universities.

 

A protocol has been signed between Çankaya University - Çankaya TTO Office, Başkent University - BUBİTTO, Atılım University - ARGEDA TTO Offices, and Ostim Technopark Management Company.
Under the protocol:

  1. The parties will be able to provide joint awareness, promotion, information, and training services according to needs.
  2. Benchmarking and on-site visits for best practices can be conducted between the parties based on their areas of expertise.
  3. In joint activities, the parties can mutually allocate their conference, meeting, and other facilities by mutual agreement.
  4. If needed, the parties can provide controlled access to business databases, academic databases, and expert databases.
  5. If needed, they can communicate with the other party according to the demands from their respective regions.
  6. The parties can submit joint project proposals.
  7. If approved by the other party, they can benefit from the pool of experts.
  8. Throughout the protocol, announcements of collaborative activities within the framework of social media tools of the parties will be made.
  9. The parties can exchange views on project activities, matching, intellectual property rights, technology entrepreneurship, and establishment of companies (startup/spinoff) based on university-industry collaboration.
  10. Within the scope of university-industry collaboration and protocols, they can jointly organize various activities such as project markets, matching events, exhibitions, and fairs.
  11. They can provide services for the development of technology entrepreneurship by utilizing resources such as mentors, trainers, academic matching, business connections, and technopark services.
